SALES ENGINEER | AGRICULTURE MACHINERY
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Director and will be responsible for developing and consolidating the company's presence in the area of expertise; the resource will also be responsible for offering technical-sales support for the development of the customer portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibility of this role is to deliver industrial business pipelines in the area in order to maximize revenue growth in new key accounts, alongside increasing profitability against defined targets to achieve cash and profit improvement for the business.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Focus and grow of sales activity in order to maximize sales opportunities through the acquisition of new customers;
Business development, hunting and acquisition of new key customers in selected sales area to increase sales and margin revenue;
New product development: working with and across functions to develop new and/or customized solutions for new key accounts;
Development of clear and targeted business plans in order to increase sales and market share;
Support in developing market strategies for segments;
Monitoring customers’ financial performance concerning the individual customer sales strategies;
Development and management of exceptional relationships with both internal and external customers;
Drafting reports to draw up new strategies along with the headquarter sales management;
Taking parts in national and international trade fairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor (Bsc), preferably in Engineering;
Experience within a sales function and development of new key accounts (5-6 years), preferably in the agriculture field;
Excellent knowledge of sales processes for technical products;
Availability to travel abroad (50%)
Fluent English is mandatory..
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
Highly proactive, flexible, self-motivated, driven and results-oriented;
The ability to develop relationships, negotiate and close business in a cross technical manner;
Good communication and decision-making skills;
First class presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Salary Package: the salary will be commensurate with the seniority of the candidate
LOCATION: Piedmont
